The word “Secret”

Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV To me the value of these words are so important in bringing clarity and rightly dividing the word of Truth. First of all, God has a timetable. The wisdom of God is Far beyond our comprehension. As our Creator, he does know all.

[Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV] “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”

[Genesis 49:6 KJV] “O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.”

[Deuteronomy 27:15 KJV] “Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.”

[Judges 3:19 KJV] “But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.”

The Word “Mystery”

The word “Mysteries”

[Matthew 13:11 KJV] “He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”

[Luke 8:10 KJV] “And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.”

[1 Corinthians 4:1 KJV] “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.”

[1 Corinthians 13:2 KJV] “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.”

The word “secrets”

[Deuteronomy 25:11 KJV] “When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:”

[Job 11:6 KJV] “And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.”

[Psalm 44:21 KJV] “Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.”

[Proverbs 11:13 KJV] “A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.”

[Proverbs 20:19 KJV] “He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.”

[Daniel 2:28 KJV] “But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;”
